SUP Yoga Retreat in Jim Thorpe, PA Details coming soon! Location Jim Thorpe, PA, is a beautiful and historic town, surrounded on three sides by mountains, and has meandering streets, magnificent architecture, and cozy accommodations.

Instructor Maya Kowalcyk, E-RYT 200hr, Yoga Instructor, Studio Owner & Ayurveda Yoga Specialist Maya has been practicing yoga since 1997 and has been teaching yoga since 2008. She has practiced a variety of styles of yoga, including Iyengar yoga, Kundalini, Hatha, Ashtanga, and vinyasa yoga. She is most inspired by the focus on alignment that is inherent in Iyengar Yoga, with its modifications and use of props, all of which help to make the practice of yoga accessible to one and all. She has studied with Iyengar teachers Holly Walck, Joan White, Dean Lerner, Rebecca Lerner, Patricia Walden and Manuso Manos. Maya has also studied yoga and Ayurveda at The Himalayan Institute in Honesdale, PA, where she received her certification as an Ayurveda Yoga Specialist. She enjoys a regular practice with her teacher, Holly Walck of The Iyengar Center of the Lehigh Valley. Maya is continuously evolving and growing as a yoga student and teacher, as she believes that the practice of yoga is lifelong and is also ever-evolving. She is most happy when able to connect with her students and share the joy that yoga and Ayurveda have brought her to help her students learn to connect with their bodies and minds, and learn to find peace, stillness, and balance deep within their own hearts.
Food Freshly prepared Ayurvedic, organic, vegetarian meals by a local chef. Saturday dinner at Stone Row Pub & Eatery, a local gourmet restaurant.

Retreat Schedule Fri 7/22 At 4:00pm, plan to arrive at FLOW Art Gallery in historic Jim Thorpe, PA, for an introduction and explanation of your SUP Yoga retreat weekend. You will be greeted by your retreat leaders/instructors Maya Kowalcyk and Akantha Susko. Upon arrival, enjoy some light fare prepared with fresh, local ingredients. Following our intro, we will drive to our SUP Yoga location for a sunset SUP yoga class and meditation from approximately 6:30-8pm. Relax afterwards at your chosen accommodations (options listed above).
Sat 7/23 Meet up early at our SUP Yoga location for a sunrise SUP yoga and meditation class. Following class, enjoy a tasty, fresh, vegetarian breakfast. Take a leisurely hike on one of our many hiking trails or rent a bike at a local rental shop to cover more ground! It's up to you! Before dinner, meet for one more evening SUP Yoga class on the glassy surface of a beautiful lake, feeling calmed by the beauty of the sun setting over the water. Meet for dinner at our local gourmet restaurant that caters to vegetarian, vegan and other diets, Stone Row Pub & Eatery. Rest up in your cozy bed to prepare for one more am SUP experience tomorrow. Sun 7/24 Meet for one last sunrise SUP yoga and meditation class. Nourish yourself with a delicious, fresh breakfast afterwards. Take time for one last easy hike along a nearby trail, or choose to take a more strenuous route before heading home. Your choice!
